As part of the 16th annual Nottingham Photography festival I’ve produced a photo-zine called ‘Better’ as part of my final year degree show exhibition.
‘Better’ is an exploration into the everyday and ordinary and how photography as a medium can distort and change the world as we see and remember it. ‘Better’ is a collection of over 300 photographs that were taken between January and April of this year, all of which are being exhibited publicly in Nottingham. The zine serves as a selection of images from the series in a form that is tangible and digestible to audiences. A 40 page, A5 zine limited to 30 is for sale, each one coming with a 5X7 hand print. If you want a copy, please email me - blackmorton@hotmail.co.uk.
They’re £4 in person, £7 within the U.K, postage paid.
If you’re in Nottingham then please come and have a look at the exhibition and any others you can make, there’s some great work being exhibited across the city. Here’s the website with a list and samples of each persons’ work and a list/map of where to find all the venues. - http://releasephotofestival.com/index.html
If you could repost/reblog this I would appreciate it. Thanks.
